Abstract |

• The Objective from this research is to identify the distinctive features of the traditional costume of women in the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, and to identify the similarities and differences between the traditional fashion, with the clarification of the role of geographical proximity in shaping women's traditional costumes, as the goal of research to develop some of the proposed designs taken from traditional costumes UAE and Oman, and representation on the model almanican.
• Researcher used the interview method to obtain depth information on the traditional fashion;, through a meeting with a group of reporters each from the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, the researcher also prepared a manual for field study of the material culture of women's traditional costume, the researcher has been divided into four main directory containing a set questions; in order to identify the number of external and internal fashion, covers the head and face, and to obtain more accurate information on women's traditional uniforms, the researcher also used photography, photography and video camera, and audio recording.
• The researcher found, through theoretical and field study of the community of the UAE and Oman, to inform them of the previous studies and research on traditional costumes and composition, and interface studies, with a view to answering the research questions and access to the following results:
1. The participation of the traditional dress uniform of Oman with the UAE; in terms of: simplicity, modesty and expanding, and comfort in use, the customs and traditions link Arab and Muslim countries.
2. There are similarities between the traditional uniform of women in the UAE and Omani women some fashion; in terms of: the general format, and name objects, and the raw material, colors, and decoration, we find the similarities in the fashion of Foreign Affairs, Interior and covers the head and face.
3. There is a difference between the traditional costumes fashion Oman and UAE in terms of the number of spare uniforms, in the UAE consists of a small number of fashion, which is the basis of three pieces: alkndorah and dress, and trousers, and covers the head and face and share the seven emirates in this fashion; in terms of: the general format , called, and the raw material and decoration, the fashion of Oman consists of a large number of fashion; uniforms vary from one region or province to another; in terms of general format, called, and the raw material, and decoration, and places of embroidery |
